Does the world turn for the better?

Does the world ever stop for one person? One moment, frozen forever in time?

Whisper on a breath; forgotten lore of history. One can hear the ancient tales of the earth through the memoirs of the passed on spirits.

Golden silence.

Lives of millions of people; distorted images playing out amongst shards of glass. CRASH! A shattered mirror bouncing our reflections back at us. Time moves on, yet images don't last.

Marionettes, mere puppets and avatars of ourselves, dancing to the chaotic rhythm of life. Never slowing down in a frenzied pace: an idiosyncrasy forever embedded into the race of humanity.

The unbridled 'humanity' in humans is long gone. Tearing apart forests, singing the earth and uprooting the plants. Digging into the soil with metal claws, ripping and up heaving. Towering spires of artificial creation looming over reality. Blood of the innocent creatures, beings thriving in their niche on earth long before the development of humans, splashing upon the dying grass.

March of time moves on. March of humans move on.

The earth turns as the cries of lost souls reach to a crescendo. Unhappy, unfilled people tread the earth's many twisted paths. Illusions and desires just out of our grasps. One day, will we all come across happiness in all its lionized worthiness?

Will we ever acquire peace?

Sob, cry, scream, rant, rage- emotions too often seen in this day and age. Happiness, thoughtfulness, jovial caring tones often hidden behind clouded eyes and scowling grimaces.

Our salvation is fluttering out of our grasping, forever stretched fingers. Hope, the ray of destiny, dances in front of hungry eyes. Fill me up, renew my life. Give me hope for humanity and wishes to give to society.

Build me up, make me strong. Release my fears and anxieties. Give me another chance, another day, to spread my smile and laughter to others. Aye, an infectious disease that's worth catching. Let others see the glimmering love beyond the horizon of mist.

Searching deep in hearts, BAM! Purpose acquired, resolved and resolute to fulfill.

Can I see the path through my eyes? Wipe away these tears from my fears. Breathing, still strong. Heart screams out for freedom. Let's try to spread my gift around.

Hugs for the sick, smiles for the lonely. Giving love for everyone of anyone—of any race and any background.

Chance: humans are giving this opportunity to make the world a little better.

Does the world ever stop for one person? One moment, frozen forever in time?

Does the world turn for the better?

One must wait and see.
I wrote this a long time ago. About... three years ago, to be exact. I don't know what inspire these little bouts of mine. I just get inspired by random moments in life.

The inspiration behind this one is I had a horrid day. I had had a fantastically cruel day, and instead of really being moody and gloomy over it, I made this in order to get a bit of my frustration out with a whole 'happy, optimistic' twist at the end.

This one is one of my weirdest ones. It's not a poem, just a drabble of sorts that may---or may not--- provoke some sort of reaction or emotion.

If you like this or not, it's all about how your reaction is to this. That is all that matters to me.
